    • E11.9**: Type 2 diabetes mellitus without complications
    • E11.65**: Type 2 diabetes mellitus with hyperglycemia
    • E11.22**: Type 2 diabetes mellitus with diabetic chronic kidney disease
    • E11.29**: Type 2 diabetes mellitus with other diabetic kidney complications
    • E66.01**: Morbid obesity due to excess calories
    • E66.9**: Obesity, unspecified
    • Z68.41**: Body mass index (BMI) 40.0-44.9, adult
    • Z68.42**: Body mass index (BMI) 45.0-49.9, adult
  • Treatment: Prescribed a GLP-1 receptor agonist 
  • Observation Period: 12 months prior to initiation of GLP-1 treatment through 1/1/2025

  • Patient Table: Includes all patients satisfying the cohort requirements.
  • Condition Table: Includes all diagnoses associated with cohort members during the observation period
  • Procedure Table: Includes all procedures associated with cohort members during the observation period
  • Treatment Table: Includes all medications (semaglutide and all other drugs) associated with cohort members during the observation period
  • Measurement Table: Includes all laboratory tests associated with cohort members during the observation period
