SimpleSense™ by Nanowear is a cloth-based, non-invasive FDA approved medical device. Nanowear is conducting a clinical study to assess the capability of SimpleSense™ to accurately measure blood pressure in a remote care setting. Assessing blood pressure much earlier in a patient’s journey could help save hundreds of thousands of lives in the US per year.

  • More than 500,000 deaths occur in the US each year with high blood pressure as a primary or contributing cause. 
  • High blood pressure is the largest modifiable cause of mortality worldwide.  

Should you be interested in participating, you will be asked to wear a non-invasive undergarment with built in sensors plus two blood pressure cuffs for a period of 75 minutes.

Are you Eligible?

  • You ARE eligible if:

    • You are between 21 and 80 years of age

    • Your systolic blood pressure is 140 or above and/or your diastolic blood pressure is 90 or above

  • You ARE NOT eligible if: 

    •  You are pregnant 

    • You have an implanted cardiac device 
    • You have a known heart disorder or arrhythmia
